Good news in blood cancer trial

Base Editing sucess for GOSH

Gene therapy has been used to treat a previously untreatable type of blood cancer, using base-editing technology developed at UCL and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

This work was not done as part of the MRC CoRE in Therapeutic Genomics but we celebrate this victory for patients and our fellow researchers.
